gm, beautiful people 🌞 This is a look at what the Epoch 9 application process looked like.
Epoch 9: Ethereum Stories in collaboration on with Ethereum Foundation's Strategic Funding Coordination Team.

So what's the round? Let's recap with 3 questions.
First, you had to be a creative who has created Ethereum content.
Part of the eligibility criteria was having created Ethereum-centric content before. Yes, Layer-2/L2 content counts. And, yes, content in other languages absolutely counts.
We were looking to fund high-impact marketing, educational, and journalistic content that push Ethereum forward.
We asked folks to show us the campaign, series, or investigation they'd run to make Ethereum a part of everyday conversation.
For the application, our ask was to share how/what you'd want to do to market Ethereum.
Second, the work you do had to fit into one of these three categories.

👉 You must have already created Ethereum-focused or L2-foucsed content in the past
👉 Funding was intended for the applicant's next project + informed by their track record.
Third, you had to be able to say YES to these three.
✅ Provide proof of past Ethereum content (video, podcast, article, campaign, etc.)
✅ Show its impact (audience size, engagement quality, influence)
✅ Submit a short proposal for next project, with:
- Concept and intended impact
- Distribution plan
- How you’d execute with a smaller vs. larger budget (detail what you would do if you got less than 0.1x of the financial $ vs. if you got 10x that amount)
