What a week! Devcon was truly an extraordinary experience for our team. The energy and focus on innovation was palpable, and we felt pretty proud to see Octant recognized as a key player in the Ethereum ecosystem (thanks for the shout-outs Vitalik!)
Our Devcon reflections
- The discussions on L2s, chain abstraction, and decentralized tooling align with our commitment to fostering accessible and scalable solutions. We got the unique opportunity to hear from builders in underrepresented regions, who shed a light on challenges and opportunities for growth.
- One of the most encouraging themes was the growing alignment on funding public goods. We discussed actionable solutions. Lots of convos around dedicating portions of treasuries to PGF, more experimentation, developing better tools to measure impact. These ideas strongly resonate with our Octant mission and underscore the importance of what we’re building together.
- It was pretty cool to see so many of you reppin our merch. We loved hearing stories about how we’ve supported your impactful projects and how we can work together in a more meaningful way. It’s clear our work over the past year has elevated our profile within the Ethereum community. We’ve been so heads down with work but it was heartwarming to see the difference from a year ago to now.
- Devcon week reaffirmed the work we’re doing at Octant is not only valuable but essential for advancing public goods funding. As we continue to iterate on our platform and explore new collabs + partnerships, we’re committed to scaling and supporting the global Ethereum community. Devcon’s been a strong reminder of the potential of the tech and impact we’re building for. We’re privileged and grateful to be a part of this movement and this industry.
💚💚💚 and finally a big BIG THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to connect with us— at our booth, at events, at our talks, in our DMs and socials. Your energy and support mean the world to us <3
