🌱 Featuring our Community Fund Grantees

We're kicking off a brand new series on our LinkedIn profile: Featuring our Growth Fund Grantees.

For the first post, we chat with Ahmad Khan: a designer and product thinker who's been involved in several exciting projects and received funding for launching the Public Goods by Design Hackathon. This is a web3 design hackathon aimed at creating innovative solutions for the public goods ecosystem.

This 3-day virtual event will bring together 20 teams to tackle two major design challenges—all while competing for a Grand Prize.

📅Dates: 14-16 March

Ahmad, you’re organizing the Public Goods by Design Hackathon. What was your inspiration?

"Web3 has introduced groundbreaking funding mechanisms for public goods—things that benefit everyone but are often hard to sustain financially. However, design is often overlooked in these conversations. Public Goods by Design is an attempt to change that.

The goal is to bring designers and builders together to create more user-friendly, engaging, and sustainable public goods models.

The inspiration came from seeing how difficult it can be for web3 projects to achieve adoption simply because of poor UX, and I wanted to create an event that highlights design as a key factor in solving these problems."
