What's Open Source Observer?
We help funders use data to measure the impact of open source software contributions.

Why should you vote for Open Source Observer in epoch 2?

Crypto networks are built on open source. Therefore, funding open source effectively must be at the heart of every network's growth and sustainability strategy. Open Source Observer gives funders and projects the data they need to measure impact over the long-term.

OSO is a fully open source public good. In addition to doing our own analysis on top of the data, we are building a community of impact data scientists passionate about putting their skills to work on decentralized public goods funding.

Cool Metrics:

  • Over 1000 open source projects currently included
  • Project data from L1/L2 events, GitHub, package managers, grants metadata
  • Coverage of various grants ecosystems (including Golem πŸ”œ)
  • Deep commitment to open source + open data ... and even fully open infra
  • Creating the first community of crypto impact data scientists
