Why should you vote for Public HAUS in epoch 2?
Public HAUS stands as a testament to the power of open-source as a public good in the web3 space. By voting for us, the community supports a platform that's not only free from profit-centric models but also one that's dedicated to continual improvement and maintenance without the guarantee of funding. This commitment ensures that our high-quality code and comprehensive documentation remain accessible to everyone, fostering innovation and progress in the web3 community. Our project is not just a tool; it's a step towards realizing the dream of a truly democratic, decentralized web3 ecosystem.
A vote for us is a vote for sustaining and advancing this vision, ensuring that we continue to provide value and drive forward the ideals of an open, decentralized internet.
What's interesting about Public HAUS:

Progress since epoch 1:
Completed Initiatives:
- Cookie Jar Development
- DAOcemberists Support
Present Initiatives:
- Decentralized Immutable News (DIN)
- Cookie Jar Bounty Board: currently, we’re utilizing 2 ETH to fund a Cookie Jar experiment. This initiative focuses on minimizing governance intervention while supporting and maintaining DAOhaus open-source tools and protocols. The goal is to streamline support mechanisms for essential tools within our ecosystem and use this experiment to allow other ecosystems to do the same.
- The Network Member Registry: Additionally, we’re actively engaged in The Network Member Registry project, a cross-chain DAO governance minified distribution and member management system. This collaborative effort involves working closely with Protocol Guild, another participant in the Octant Grant program. Notably, we’ve been rewarded a 5 ETH grant from The Moloch DAO to support this project. Currently, we’re in the second contract audit phase and simultaneously undertaking front-end development and refinement.
- Creation of Sponsor and Community Projects pages
Future Initiatives
- Collaboration with Hypercerts
- Latest Strategic Signal Session: This vote initiates the setting of priorities for the forthcoming "season." These signaling sessions serve as a directional guide for Public HAUS' contributors, clearly indicating the DAO's upcoming priorities and focus areas.
